A bit about me.
Hello :)
I'm Fae, I am nearly 29 (Ekkk!) and I live in West Sussex. I have the Instagram @FrugalFae which started on my freebie and money making journey nearly 18 months ago now.
It all began because I wanted to refill a beauty advent calendar for my mum, you know the ones will all the boxes from a well known high street store. But when looking at miniatures they were all so expensive and with 25 boxes to fill this was going to get pricey.
I began looking for samples and freebies both online and in stores and from there I go a bit of a thrill from all the goodies I could get. I filled my mum's advent up within about 6 months, I was taking it slowly. I then started applying for freebies I could give away, either as gifts or to people in need and I regularly give a bag to local homeless charities with things like gloves, razors, toiletries and sanitary products. I also collect pet food and treats.
I live with my Fiancé in our new home, which we bought about 2 years ago and have completely renovated. It still had to original 1960's council installed yellow kitchen! We moved in just over a year ago, and my freebie hunting took off. Finding things for our new home and ways to make extra income as our budget had pretty much been completely depleted.
I love Instagram and the debt free/side hustle and freebie community is wonderful, it is full of lovely, friendly people who will always help! However, I decide to start blogging for those topics which need a bit more context. So this blog is aimed to focus on money making, side hustles and freebies.
So I hope you enjoy it :)
